AITIE stands for the Association for Innovative Technology Integration in Education. It is a professional, non-profit association of academic and non-academic media specialists, instructional designers, distance education specialists, and other stakeholders interested in improving teaching and learning through innovative and creative use of technology.

To be the foremost professional association in the integration of technologies for teaching, learning, research and administrative purposes in conventional and distance education settings.

We seek to be a force for qualitative accessible education, through the promotion of scholarship and best practices in the design, development, use, and innovative management of technologies for effective teaching and learning in a variety of educational settings.

Anyone with an interest in technology integration in education can join. AITIE offers three membership categories: Student Member (for students regularly enrolled in a college or university), Associate Member (for individuals interested in technology integration who may not yet qualify as full Members), and Full Member (for professionals in media application for educational purposes, such as instructional designers, educators, and other media specialists).

Yes — IJITIE, the International Journal of Innovative Technology Integration in Education, is AITIE's double-blind, peer-reviewed, open-access journal.
