What is AITIE?
AITIE stands for the Association for Innovative Technology Integration in Education. It is a professional, non-profit association of academic and non-academic media specialists, instructional designers, distance education specialists, and other stakeholders interested in improving teaching and learning through the creative and innovative use of technology.
What is the vision of AITIE?
To be the foremost professional association in the integration of technologies for teaching, learning, research, and administrative purposes in conventional and distance education settings across Nigeria and beyond.
Who can join AITIE?
Anyone with an interest in technology integration in education can join. We have three membership categories:
Student Member: For students regularly enrolled in a college or university.
Associate Member: For individuals interested in technology integration but who may not qualify as full Members.
Full Member: For professionals in media application for educational purposes (instructional designers, educators, researchers, etc.).
What are the benefits of becoming a member?
Benefits include:
- Access to all Special Interest Groups (SIGs) and their resources.
- Discounted registration for the annual conference and workshops.
- Eligibility to hold elective offices (Full Members only) and vote on association matters.

How do I register for membership?
You can register online via our membership page on the AITIE website. Complete the registration form, select your preferred membership tier and SIGs, and make the required payment. Your membership becomes active upon processing of your payment.
